This is a superb route heading out west of the county.

From Kirkley we head down through Stamfordham and then to Corbridge. We follow the river along to Wylam before heading north to Ponteland and back to Kirkley.

All quiet country roads.

We are starting and finishing at the infamous Kirkley Cafe but there will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments around Corbridge.

Helmets are mandatory on our rides. In addition, please bring: * Basic tools *Spare tube, puncture repair, pump *water and snacks *waterproofs *cash/card *a plan to get home if you have a non repairable mechanical
