This FLAB Social Rides Wigan ride is open for anyone to join

Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

It will be an off-road route which will be decided on the day after taking into account the weather over the last few days. It will be either direct via the canal or via Amberswood, Low Hall and Fir Tree Flash.

We will be riding mainly on canal towpath and off road trails for this ride.

We will have a refreshment/social stop at either The Whistling Wren or The Robin Hood, for a shandy if the weather's warm, or coffee if it's cold.

Bring spare inner tubes, water, mud guards for autumn/winter, basic repair kit and snacks. Wear appropriate footwear and clothing for our glorious UK weather conditions. HELMETS MUST BE WORN

We ride with a no one gets dropped policy.
