Starting at Congleton Leisure Centre, heading the short distance to Biddulph Valley Way.
The old railway line climbs very gently from Congleton to Biddulph, where we head off the track, with have short steady climb to the Mow Cop ridge, not the infamous MowCop climb. As the route follows the ridge there are amazing views across the Cheshire Plains and Staffordshire Moorlands, before dropping down to Congleton. There will be a tea stop at Congleton Garden Centre before the last couple of miles back to the Leisure Centre.
