FLAB Social Northumberland - Castle to Coast

This is a great ride. Leaving from Amble we head out to Warkworth and then join the back road to Shilbottle. Once we have climbed up to Shilbottle we will drop down into Alnwick town before riding out towards Denwick and Longhoughton. We will then head out to the coast at Boulmer and ride along to Seaton Point before heading back via Foxton and into Alnmouth where we will stop for a coffee. We will then climb up to Bilton before dropping down into Buston and Warkworth and heading back to the finishing point in Amble.

Great ride taking in the beautiful Warkworth castle and coastline at Boulmer on Easter Monday.

The route is on roads and country lanes. All cycle types are welcome. This route has just over 1700ft of climbing.

If open, we will be stopping at Scotts of Alnmouth for takeaway coffee and cake.

Please wear a helmet and bring a basic tool kit , puncture repair and pump. You will also need to bring a face mask and also drinking water.
