FLAB Social Northumberland - Big Fat Bike Ride On T'Road to Beadnell

We will start at the Amble Morrisons car park and head out to Warkworth on the back road. We then join the cycle path up to Alnmouth and then head out along the coast to Seton and Boulmer. We come back inland to Longhoughton and cycle past Howick before rejoining the coast road up to Embleton and then continue to Beadnell. After a break at Beadnell we will head back down to Embleton via Swinhoe, through Stamford and rejoin the outward route at Longhoughton. We will head back down the hill to Lesbury and Hipsburn before the biggest climb of the day up to Bilton Barns (you're welcome!). From there it is mainly downhill back through Buston to Warkworth and back to the start in Amble.

The route will mainly be on roads and country lanes with one stretch on cycle path.

Cake and coffee stops to be confirmed. But you can expect CAKE and COFFEE!!!

This will be a long day in the saddle. Please ensure you wear a helmet and wear appropriate clothing and bring water proofs. Please bring puncture repair kit, pump and basic tools. Make sure you are carrying gels and/or snacks and drinking water.
