FLAB social Leicestershire North West- Tissington trail and Minninglow

Starting from the Mapleton lane car park at the Ashbourne end of the Tissington trail, we ride up the trail to Biggin where we will leave the Tissington trail and use a couple of gravel surfaced green lanes to join the High Peak trail at Minninglow. There is a neolithic tomb and bronze age burial ground on Minninglow hill a few hundred metres away from here, which we may detour to if there is enough interest from the group. We will then ride the High Peak trail to it's junction with the Tissington trail and up to Parsley hay, where we will have a break at the coffee kiosk. The return route will see us stick to the Tissington trail all the way back to Ashbourne.
Suitable for most bike types as long as you have reasonable offroad/gravel type tyres on.
