Fish and Ferry Fylde Meander

Starting point

We meet on the seaward side of Clifton Drive North near to the traffic lights at Starr Gate.

This ride was created by Michael Holt.
Starting from Starr Gate we turn right towards the Airport before heading North across Blackpool, past Stanley Park to Poulton Le Fylde and then out into the countryside around to Hambleton, Stalmine, Preesall and stopping at Knott End for Lunch.
We then take the ferry across to Fleetwood and then follow the coastal path back through Cleveleys and Blackpool to the start finish point at Starr Gate.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 14 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready.
Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a GOOD SECURE LOCK.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please arrive at least 15 mins before the ride start time (09.45), So that we are able to get away at the stated start time (10.05)
