(This ride takes place on the first Sunday of every month).

“If you want to get better at climbing hills, you need to climb more hills.”
This ride has a focus on helping to improve climbing ability (and the fast descents) and welcomes all (if need be, there is the option of by-passing some of the more challenging climbs, however, you will still be expected to comfortable ride a distance in excess of 30 miles).

Start/finish on High Road Leytonstone (meet on the pavement outside of McDonald’s), the ride takes in over 600M of climbing heading through Woodford, Loughton and then on to Epping, where we take on the “High Beach Five”. There is expected to be some disparity in climbing ability between everyone and you can sit out some of the climbs if need be, as the Epping hill circuit crosses the same junction several times.

No under 12's and under 16's must be accompanied by the adult who has booked them on the ride. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
All participants are expected to bring: • A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. (If in doubt, have it checked over by a local bike shop or qualified mechanic). • Carry at least a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers. • Dress for the weather. • A drink and energy bar. • Lights if there is any chance of poor visibility.
