We start at Broompark Picnic area, take the Bishop-Brandon disused railway path, then we take the byway towards The Grange and Lowfield Farm.
From the outskirts of Willington, we go on road for a bit and take the byway towards Holland Hall.
Coming back we take the road along Oakenshaw NR towards the Bishop-Brandon disused railway and then we take the Scripton Farm road. We go under the railway bridge and at some point we join the path alongside the A167 going up the hill towards Neville's Cross and back to Broompark Picnic Area.
Cycle through farms around Durham, using disused railways, bridleways and quiet roads.

Helmet is a must, suitable cycling clothing for winter. Spare tube, tools and water and snacks.
