Family Ride - Westcroft to Wimbledon Park along the Wandle Trail

This is an easy paced, flat ride along the Wandle Trail from Westcroft to Wimbledon Park, passing through parks and along quiet roads along this riverside route. Mainly Tarmac, but some hard packed gravel in Ravensbury and Morden Hall Parks.

The ride is aimed at those, including children aged 8+, who can ride confidently and for the required time (2-3 hours). There will be a few sections of quiet road, where we will ride in formation with the children sandwiched between the adults.

Please ensure that your bike(s) are in good working order and remember to bring helmets, spare inner tube (tyre levers and pump too if you have them). You may also wish to bring a drink, snack, money/card, lock and hand sanitizer too.

We'll have cafe stop in Wimbledon Park before the return journey. This is an 'out and back' ride, about 9 miles each way.
