Family Ride: Sutton Bike Hub (Rosehill Park West) to Deen City Farm

This ride is aimed at families wishing to explore the local area. We will follow cyclepaths and quiet residential roads until we meet the Wandle Trail which will take us through Morden Hall Park and on to Deen City Farm.

We will stop at the farm for up to hour before returning. Entrance is free, but they suggest a donation of £2 per person. Pre-booking your family for the 11am slot is advisable. I will wait with the bikes while you visit the farm. There is a cafe, but it can be busy and take a long time to get served, so may be advisable to take your own drinks/snacks. You may wish to take a lock to secure your bike while we are in the farm.

Please make sure your bikes are in good working order: tyres pumped and both brakes working, and you have everything you need: drink, snacks, helmet, appropriate clothing, suncream, hand sanitizer, money/card etc. Please bring a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump if you have them.

The ride is out and back, 3.8 miles each way, 7.6 miles total distance. Some of the cyclepaths are hard packed gravel, so less suitable for road bikes with very skinny tyres.

We will ride together as a group, at the pace of the slowest. On the residential roads, we will ride in formation with the children sandwiched between the adults.
All under 18s must wear a helmet for this ride.
