(0) ReviewsJoin me for a lovely, mainly flat ride along the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal to the cafe at Cwmcarn Forest Drive Visitor Centre.
The route is almost all traffic free, along a tarmarcked canal path, suitable for all bikes. There is a very small section on road on the forest drive up to the visitor centre, but this is quite quiet. There is a bit of a hill leading up to the cafe, but we will take it slow.
We will stop for a cuppa and a snack at the visitor centre where there are also toilets. Please feel free to bring your own snacks if you wish.
Please wear a helmet, bring some money for the cafe (they also take cards), a drinks bottle and a spare innertube for your bike.
The ride is just over 12 miles long, mainly flat with a hill at the end to test your legs! It is suitable for people who are new to cycling or who just want a shortish social ride with a cafe stop!
