About the route
Starting point
Front car park (outside Evans Cycles) National Cycling Centre Stuart Street M11 4DQ
Starting and finishing at the National Cycling Centre, home of Team GB, this 16 mile out-and-back ride showcases the traffic-free Manchester Cycleway (AKA The Fallowfield Loop Line). Being a former railway line, the route is flat and well surfaced, and only deviates onto the road for a short 200 metre stretch. Chorlton Park at the midway point of the route provides an ideal stopping point for some food and drink.
I won't go all the way back to the NCC but will cut back to Stockport. This will also be an alternative starting point. Contact me for details
