We will meet at Go Ape (at the bottom barn car park) and then make our way around Rivington bike trails on a route dependent on the weather and participants. Expect some climbing and good descending; we may also try out the Healey Nab trails. There will always be opt outs if you’re not feeling comfortable and we will adapt the route to suit the group.

This will be a ride exploring the mountain bike routes around Rivington. It will be over 10 and less than 20 miles and it will be adapted to suit the group. Expect some hills and a trip to the Pike - we may also include the MTB trails at Healey Nab Suitable for mountain bikes and e- mountain bikes

We will be riding on mountain bike trails, bridleways and some quiet country lanes.

There is a cafe at the start and one near the top of the Pike - this however can be rather windswept so I’d advise bringing enough snacks for the ride.

Helmets must be worn. Also please bring appropriate inner tube, puncture repair kit and sufficient tools for basic repairs. As the weather in January can be bad make sure you have waterproofs and additional warm clothing

We never leave anyone behind
