We will be taking the Ebury Way shared path through Watford, then going past Top Golf, then under the motorways to Wall Hall, through the picturesque village of Aldenham, then Round Bush to another pretty village of Letchmore Heath then to Elstree Aerodrome.

This is a STEADY PLUS 16-mile ride at 8-10 mph and we will always wait to ensure everyone stays together. Starting along the National Cycle Route 6/61 along the Ebury Way through Watford we take quiet residential roads through villages.

This ride is suitable for hybrids, gravel and lighter mountain bikes. Road bikes might struggle a bit along Otterspool Lane adjacent to the golf for about quarter of a mile since it can be slightly muddy at this time of year. We will be taking the Ebury Way shared path through Watford, then going past Top Golf, then under the motorways to Wall Hall, through the picturesque village of Aldenham, then Round Bush to another pretty village of Letchmore Heath then to Elstree Aerodrome.

We will stop for refreshments when we arrive at the Elstree Aerodrome before turning around and retracing our route back through these beautiful villages to Watford Cycle Hub

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet. Don't forget gloves, layered clothes, a drink and a snack, a rain jacket just in case, a spare inner tube or two, and a card for the cafe stop and in case of emergency. Also please bring a bike lock with you for the café stop.

We never leave anyone behind
