Please arrive at 9.15am for bike check and ride briefing ready to leave at 9.30am
This is an easygoing ride and is to encourage riders that are maybe returning to riding or improver riders looking at going a bit further distance but at a relaxed, steady pace. This ride does involve a hill but we will tackle it together with no pressure as there is always the option to walk it if you don't feel confident. Come and give it a go,

We will ride along Horkstow Road, down Piggery Hill down to Horkstow Bridge. We will then ride a short stretch along the side of the Ancholme of which the surface is a little rough but it can be walked if you don't feel confident riding it.
We will then ride towards Winterton where we will have our refreshment break at The Old Barn Tearoom.
After our refreshment stop we will ride back over Horkstow Bridge and ride along the lower villages until we reach Worlaby. Here is our challenge for the day, Worlaby Hill but we will tackle it together with no pressure as there is always the option to walk if you prefer. We will then ride towards Burnham, Deepdale and back to our starting point. ***PLEASE NOTE, IF YOU WISH TO HAVE EITHER A BACON OR SAUSAGE BUN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY 6.00PM THE NIGHT BEFORE THE RIDE AS THEY NEED TO BE PRE BOOKED, EVERYTHING ELSE CAN BE ORDER ON THE DAY***

This easygoing ride is designed to encourage ladies and gentlemen who are maybe returning to cycling or would like to go a little further at a steady, relaxed pace to get out on our bikes and enjoy the beautiful countryside. Come and have a natter with the other riders, the miles just melt away. We all started once and know exactly how you feel.

We will be riding on mainly quiet country roads

Please make sure your bike is in good working order and your tyres are pumped up to the correct pressure before the start of the ride. Please wear a helmet also bring along an inner tube, tools and a pump to fit your bike, a drink, a lock and some cash/card for the coffee stop. Please wear sunscreen on warmer days.
