This ride is one of a series of six women-only, confidence-building rides happening each Thursday between 23 May and 27 June. For these rides the National Trust, in conjunction with British Cycling and sponsors HSBC UK, offers a free loan bike. Come to any or all of the six sessions but your confidence and skill should improve far more with repeat sessions.
Each ride will be 5-6 miles. Some rides will stay in and immediately around Osterley Park; others will use quiet roads and pathways to reach places such as Boston Manor, Lampton and Southall Parks. All rides will be at the pace of the slowest rider and group size will be limited to the Ride Leader plus a maximum of eight participants.
Following each ride, there will be an opportunity for refreshments and chat in the Stables Café alongside Osterley House. Anyone with time constraints may like to know we should finish our ride around 11.15, our optional refreshments around noon.
