We will cycle along the canal tow path towards Paddington. At Westbourne Grove we will follow a cycle lane to Hyde park and cycle through the park to Marble Arch, the start of the LCC Women’s Freedom Ride
The purpose of the Women’s Freedom Ride is to call on London’s Mayor and local boroughs to remove barriers to women cycling in London. It’s the first event to be organised by the new LCC Women’s Network, formed last year.

This ride starts at 11:30am and will last approximately 1 hour and is a good opportunity to cycle around central London.
We can either stop for refreshments before the ride if we have time, but please bring a snack and water to keep you going. There are a few cafes and public toilets in Hyde park.
.
After the LCC ride we will return via the same route, I will show you the meeting point before we join the LCC ride. We can stop for refreshments at the Grand Junction cafe by St Mary Magdalene Church before picking up the canal tow path home.
