Early morning Breeze to Cassiobury Park

Hi - This is a one way ride for those who want to link up Hatch End to Cassiobury Park by cycle and also for those who wants to ride onwards for Talia's ride to Gorhambury. Return journey can be via Watford Underground Station on Metropolitan line to Pinner (where there are lifts). The ride will finish near the Cha cafe entrance of Cassiobury Park. Daisys in the park cafe opens at 9.00 a.m. and Cha cafe at 9.30 a.m if you want to stop for breakfast before your return journey independently. Feel free to explore the park at your leisure if you have never been as it has a canal and a river further along.

This is not a beginners ride as there is one hill to tackle on our way out from Pinner, through to Oxhey, Carpenders Park and Watford. We will wait at the top of the hill and never leave anyone behind. Cycling route 61 to join Ebury Way and then navigate some quiet roads through Watford to arrive at the cafe.

Do not come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 or are in a home with anyone who has. Bring a face mask for the train and hand sanitiser. We will observe social distancing on the ride. Please ensure your bike is in tip-top working order as I cannot touch it. Pump up the tyres, check the brakes and ensure the wheels turn freely.

No special gear needed: just water, helmet, money for the cafe and a bike lock. Don't forget your Oyster card.
