Duns - Sunday 18th August

Leaving Kelso we will head to Duns via Stitchill, taking a left turn at Swintonmill crossroads. We approach Duns from Mount Pleasance and alongside the White Adder river for a short distance. Our return will be via Bridgend, turning right for Wedderburn and Sinclairs Hill. We touch the edge of Swinton before heading towards Haigsfield, passing through Birgham on the main Kelso road. We will take a right turn after leaving Birgham and head for Ednam. We will arrive back in Kelso past the race course and Broomlands. We will make stops along the way for drinks and snacks.

From kelso we will ride a loop to Duns for refreshements, Going out to Ednam, Eccles, Orangelane, Leitholm turning at Swinton down into Duns, return fogo and lambden to Ednam

Mainly Country roads

Ride leaders will explain stops during ride briefing, but we tend to stop at junctions, tops of hills, where safe to do so, photo opportunities, nose blow stops, grab drink stops etc....

Helmets must be worn, we ask you to dress appropriately for the weather, knowing that Scotland doesnt always follow what the season should be so layers are always good, and a windproof/wagterproof jacket, even if its in bike bag always a good idea, We ask you to carry an inner tube for your bike - dont worry if dont know how to change if puntured - we are on hand to help. We always suggest you have a drinks bottle with you, of water/juice to keep you hydrated. Monies/phone.
