An undulating route round Smithills and Edgeworth, taking in some stunning views. Our stop will be at the Last Drop Village where we’ll be able to wander around the artisan market, have a brew and chat.
This route is entirely on road, some busy and some quieter. You must be confident riding on roads although we will stay together. This route is only suitable for road bikes, this means bikes that are designed for faster road riding. There are some steep inclines but these are short and we are rewarded with some great downhills and awesome views. The elevation on this ride is 1300ft Average speed 10-12 miles and hour, pls ensure that you can maintain this speed.
Please be self sufficient, bring any tools you need for your bike and dress appropriately for the weather.
