This ride has been brought forward from December. This circular ride explores the surrounding area of Rivington. We will follow all the trails that lead up to and around Rivington pike and its surrounding areas. The route has a bit of climbing, a few stoney paths and lovely descents. I can promise spectacular views, probably cold weather and exhilaration!

Ideally suited to novice MTB's who have a good level of fitness and those ladies who have a sense of adventure and a willingness to have a go. There will be a cafe stop but don't know where until the day. Depends on how mucky we get. NB: Suitable for mountain bikes only, only hybrids.

Appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended as it is a muddy, sometimes wet route. Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and bring spare inner tubes, bike levers, lock and pump. Also check your brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before.

Please ensure your emergency contacts are aware of your approx. location and the contact details are up to date on the lets ride site. Ebikes are welcome on this ride but you must be courteous on climbs to avoid diminishing morale*** There are also a couple of points where you may need to lift your bike. Alternative routes can be provided for these sections, if need be.
