DESTINATION STATION SOUTH

We will leave Longford park and will cycle on roads until Didsbury where we will pick up the TPT to Stockport.
From Stockport, we will go through Heaton Moor on quiet roads and eventually we will cycle along the Fallowfied loop.

This is a mixed ride. We aim to stop in the iconic Station South in Levenshulme towards the end of the ride. The ride will follow the Mersey river and we will be able to see some of the Stockport old air raid shelter.

We will cycle on some main roads, mostly with a cycling lane, and you need to be confident to ride in traffic. We will use the TPT, some quiet roads and the Fallowfiel loop. This ride is not suitable for road bikes.

We will ride at a leisurely pace and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, have a drink etc.

Please, make sure that you bring with you a lock, an inner tube, a drink and some snacks. Bring money for the café if you want to get yourself a drink or some food. We recommend that you have lights in working order and you must wear a helmet if you want to join the ride.
