Starting at the Ham Road Car Park, Davington, Faversham, we will ride out through Oar, joining the Lower Road and continuing through Teyham. Once through Teyham we turn left and head towards Bapchild where we cross the A2 for the first time. Once across here, we ride through Rodmersham to Rodmersham Green for our refreshment stop.

The return journey takes us through Upper Rodmersham, Erriottwood, Norton where we cross the A2 for a second time - this junction is by a fuel station with a central pedestrian crossing point which we will use if the road is particularly busy. Once straight across this junction we cycling for a short while when we turn right to re-join Lower Road and ride back to our start point, with plenty of the day left to enjoy. Approximately 18 miles.

Expect some inclines.

A short and lumpy ride for coffee at Rodmersham Green Coffee Shop

We will be riding mostly on country roads but we do have to cross the busier A2 twice.

Stopping for a very short refreshment break at Rodmersham Green Coffee Shop. This is a very popular cafe with cyclists and walkers.

Bikes should be in a roadworthy condition. Helmets are strongly advised. Spare inner tube and tools for your bike should you be unfortunate enough to get a puncture. Essential medication (ie epipens etc); dress for the weather; cash/card for refreshments.

No one is left behind and we hope you have an enjoyable ride. Should the groups comfortable ride speed on the day be extremes, then the group will be split into two. You need to competent in your cycling, particularly at junctions.
