This ride will take us out of Glasgow on the South side, to cycle through the system of reservoirs of the Dams to Darnley Country Park.

We'll ride mostly on roads, and we'll use cycle lanes when available. There's part of the route on shared walk/cycle paths, once in the Dams Country Park. The ride is gently uphill on the way out, and opposite on return.

We'll stop at the Dams for a quick break, next to one of the reservoirs. The interconnecting reservoirs are spectacular, especially on a dry day or evening. There are no facilities.

You will need a bike in full working order, preferably with gears. Due to riding on open roads and some descents, a helmet is recommended. Bring plenty to drink and some snacks for the break at the Dams.

We never leave anyone behind
