Starting from - As this ride is on the same day as The Duxford Soapbox Derby you will be unable to park the at rear of Graystones Café and Deli on St Peter’s Street Duxford. Also there are closed roads in the village from 12.00 noon to 2.30pm. If you need to make a quick getaway after the ride then please park on Moorfield Road before the junction with St John's Street or on Hinxton Road after the junction with Rectory Road. we will still be able to get refreshments at Graystones and if we sit out the front we can enjoy some of the fun of the soapbox derby!
. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks, CB22 4RJ

Community rides are for more experienced riders in mixed groups and will be faster and longer. If you are not confident of riding in a group or in areas with more traffic then please try a Breeze or Guided Ride first where no one is ever left behind. Rides will generally be on minor roads and country lanes and will include more hills. Leaders of Community rides do not have to be a Breeze or Guided Ride leader and rides are designed to be more like a ride with your pals. We will always have a coffee (cake?) and a chat at the end of the ride.
This route takes us through Cambridge and there are sections on busier roads but it is basically a flat route and is very scenic
