Coypool and beyond!

These Wednesday cycles will be a series of rides where we will start at 09.30 from Coypool Park & Ride and return between 13.00-13.30. The rides will all be approximately 22-30 miles and a steady 9-10 mph pace. There will be different routes and we will interchange them each week. These are three examples of our routes:
- Up the Plymbridge Cycle Trail to Yelverton, join the road to Dousland and head down the hill for a lap of Burrator Reservoir. We will then return back up the hill and stop for refreshments in the Burrator Inn. From the Inn we will return to Yelverton on the road and pick up the Cycle Trail back down the hill to Coypool.
- Up the Plymbridge Cycle Trail and turn off after Bickleigh to climb up a steepish minor road called Vomit Hill. After a rest to take in the stunning views we will head out on quiet moor roads and eventually drop down into Sheepstor village. After a lap of Burrator Reservoir we will make our way to Yelverton for a coffee stop. Once refreshed we will return to our starting point via the Plymbridge Cycle Trail.
- Leave Coypool and cycle through Saltram Park and along Billacombe Road to Elburton. Then we head towards Sherford, Smithaleigh and Sparkwell. Coffee stop will be at Chaplains before we come along Plymouth Road at Plympton and return to the Park and Ride.
Please bring your helmet, lights, appropriate kit for a puncture, a drink and any refreshments for the ride.
