Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Welcome to week 2 of the Swindon Lets Ride group Couch to 100km challenge 2025.
This week sees us venture out onto the roads, where we can put into practice what we learnt at Moredon. We will set of from the Moredon Sports Hub at 09:30hrs, using the cycle path network to take us up into Ridgeway Farm. We will then cycle out to Cricklade using the B4553 and the ‘closed road’, where our café stop this week is the newly reopened Cricklade Club Café (tables booked for the group).
Our return route will follow roughly the same route back to the Moredon Sports Hub. The whole route is 14.3mile and pretty flat on quieter traffic roads and cycle paths.
Please bring a bottle for your bike with your favourite thirst quencher and snacks to keep you going. For all your rides we recommend that you bring a spare inner tube that is suitable for your bike, plus a pump. If your wheels are bolted on, then please bring a spanner that fits your bike’s wheel nuts. You should dress appropriately for the weather and consider bringing your mobile phone along with cash or a debit card for the cafe. Some places only accept card payments these days.
