Leaving Hirst Lock we head up the towpath to Fishermans pub coming off and over the canal for the climb up Primrose lane, right onto Gilstead lane, before the Glen pub its left onto path, this avoids the lumpy bumpy, Swan avenue, Sheriff lane, Otley road, Spring lane, Glovershaw lane, Bingley road, left onto Hawkesworth road, here we will ride in pairs so vehicles can pass safetly, right into Hawkesworth village, through then left onto Thorpe lane, popping out on A65 for a short section left onto Guiseley drive and through High Royds, then along Main street to the coffee stop
