Join us for a ride up to Cornerstone Cafe at Menston Methodist Church, it is a fabulous cafe, over the summer holidays it has had a refurb. It is very popular with the villagers, a bacon sandwich is £3.30 which is excellent value, the cakes are stunning, click on facebook link to check them out

Leaving Hirst Lock we head up the towpath to Fishermans pub coming off and over the canal for the climb up Primrose lane, right onto Gilstead lane, before the Glen pub its left onto path, this avoids the lumpy bumpy, Swan avenue, Sheriff lane, Otley road, Spring lane, Glovershaw lane, Bingley road, left onto Hawkesworth road, here we will ride in pairs so vehicles can pass safetly, right into Hawkesworth village, through then left onto Thorpe lane, popping out on A65 for a short section left onto Guiseley drive and through High Royds, then along Main street to the coffee stop

Leaving the village we will head back to the A65, to the Wetherby Whaler roundabout turning right and back to the traffic lights at top of Hollins Hill, left then right onto old Hollins Hill, dropping down to Esholt, through Baildon and back to Hirst Lock

Spare inner tube, warm clothing and pennies for coffee
