COGS Thursday evening rides

Always starting at Five Rivers, the routes are varied and will take you down lanes and tracks that you didn't know existed. Rides are between 8 and 14 miles long, and average no more than 8 or 9mph. Each week we do a loop to a different location in or around Salisbury. All rides take us to a Pub. Weekly rides in and around Salisbury ranging from 8 to 15 miles, with a Pub stop somewhere along the route.

As much as is possible, on country lanes, cycle tracks and minor roads.

Stopping to catch breath and for riders to group together again as often as its needed. Of course a pub stop on every ride - though alcohol does not need to be consumed. Soft drinks, fizzy drinks and tea and coffee are available in all!

A bike in good working order. Wear suitable clothes, remember it gets cooler as the evening progresses. Cash and or card. Something to drink and a snack. Lights. A helmet is advised as is a Hi-vis jacket.

Come and join us. No charge for the rides, £5.00 on your first COGS ride gives you membership of COGS for a year & so all riders are covered by organiser's liability insurance.
