Clumber Park To Vicar Water Country Park Via Sherwood Forest Loop

A fantastic route around parts of forestry England magnificent clumber park . Sherwood Forest and vicar water country park . One busy road to encounter.

We set off from opposite the main entrance of clumber park we head around some lovely trails taking us through the magnificent clumber park we cross over the bridge over the river poulter heading then into parts of Sherwood Forest heading towards clipston. We loop around towards the magnificent picturesque park of vicar water country park we stop at the cafe Rumbles cafe for our main stop. On return we go past the Sherwood Forest visitor centre in the beautiful village of Edwinstow . We then loop back towards clumber taking in the village of budby and more parts of Sherwood Forest looping around thoresby hall some magnificent grounds heading towards a beautiful decent towards the wonderful view of the clumber lake into the village of hardwick . We stop at the coffee kiosk for a drink before we set off back towards the car park opposite the main entrance of clumber park .

We will be riding some woodland trails some single track some wider fire roads, farm tracks , gravel paths 1.400 ft of climbing . Some parts are optional and undulating.

We stop at the rumbles cafe in vicar water park in clipston . We also stop close to the end at clumber park coffee kiosk.

Helmets are advisable, bring spare inner tubes and tools repair in the eventuality of a flat a bike pump , bike lock , mudguards and bike lights . Cash / card for possible purchases at the cafes . Suitable clothing and waterproof clothing in case of showers .
