Starting point

Greater Manchester
M21 9LA

This is a challenging ride due to the distance.
As one third of the ride is on roads, you need to be confident cycling in traffic. We will ride on canal tow paths, trails, cycling lanes and small roads, some with traffic. This ride is not suitable for road bikes.
We will stop at the Partridge lakes café and there will be a possibility to have a short walk around the lakes.
You must wear a helmet.
Please bring a lock, an inner tube, lights and some money for the café but you can bring a sandwich if you prefer.
We follow the Bridgewater canal till Astley. We then ride on a cycle lane till we meet the road that will take us to Culcheth where the lakes are. On the way back, we head to the Warbuton bridge and we take the TPT from Lymm till Longford park.
