A steady ride to see the magnificent Mosaic House in Chiswick, and Chiswick House and Gardens via the Riverside. It is a mixture of quiet and some short but busy roads, so it’s good for those who want to gain confidence riding in normal traffic.
We first get to the Mosaic House using the cycling lane on the A40 and through Acton Park. Visitors are welcome to take photos of the amazing artwork that the house is, which is also the home of its artist, Carrie Reichardt – see more here:

After that we carry on to Chiswick House and Gardens via Kew Bridge and the Riverside. We will stop here for coffee and a break, where there’s also an opportunity to walk around the gardens. Please bring a bike lock.
We return cycling along the Riverside again until Hammersmith Bridge, and cross the big Holland Park roundabout in Shepherd’s Bush (that sounds intimidating but we do it using cycling lanes and crossings only). We aim to be back at Roundwood Park at 2pm.
If you find this ride fully booked, get in the waiting list as spaces always become available nearer the date. However, please do not sign up if you’re not sure you can join.
