Chepstow to Thornbury

We head out of the car park and across the bridge. Once over the other side, we travel about 3 miles along the busiest road of the whole route. Then we turn off this road to follow the lanes as they undulate past Littleton-Upon-Severn and near to Oldbury before a last little uphill as we come into Thornbury and reach the pub.
After a short lunch stop, we complete the loop as we come out of Thornbury along Park Road before we join the outbound route near Kington and we then retrace the route back to the start.

An undulating ride over the bridge. Out and back the same with a loop around Thornbury in the middle.

Most of the route is on quiet country lanes with a small section of busier road as we head from the bridge to Elberton and then repeated in reverse as we return. It is traffic free as we cross the bridge.

We will stop in Thornbury at the Anchor Inn for lunch.

Please wear a helmet and bring some money and a lock for the lunch stop. It is also a good idea to carry a spare tube just in case.
