Carr Mill to Dream of Ice Cream

Another new ride for the FC’s West Lancs Weekday Riders and continuing our sojourn into Cheshire. A new start point too at Carr Mill Dam. We will ride through the Sankey valley round to St Helens Canal, Skirting Widnes round to the ice cream farm, Clockface then onto the Dream.
From the Dream again through Clockface to Burtonwood, skipping the edge of St Helens then back on the Sankey valley and the start
We'll ride at a steady pace of 8 - 10 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time, ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time.

We will stop at Hayfield Ice Cream Farm
