Canal and Cutacre Capers

Starting point Halfords on Manchester Road, Bolton. There is parking available and it is a short ride from Bolton railway station. BL2 1HE

We will cycle through Farnworth to pick up the Roe Green Loopline. We will then ride past Evans at the Trafford Centre on our way to the Port Salford Greenway. This will lead us to the Bridgewater Canal and Leigh Busway. We return along Cutacre Park and back to our starting point. This ride starts from Halfords on Manchester Road taking in an old railway line, Bridgewater canal and a country park that was once a slag heap. This is mostly a traffic free route with some road riding to get us to each path. There are some hills along the way.

We will stop at the Castle In the Air for refreshments.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture and money to cover refreshments. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to allow introductions and the mandatory bike check. If you can't make it, please cancel in plenty of time.
