Starting point

DN20 9JH

Ancholme Leisure Centre, Brigg

Starting from Brigg, the route heads through Scawby to Messingham and on to Scotter by largely country lanes. The route then winds through Scotton to Northorpe and on towards Kiton where we will stop for a well earned break at Uncle Henry's. The route then follows the road through Kirton and on towards Greetwell where we will turn right and make our way back to the start. The route is suitable for all bike types and for all riders, beginner or experienced. There are a few gentle hills but no steep climbs to overcome. Most of the route is along country lanes but there are one or two sections where there will be faster traffic that will require us to go in single file. These are all roads used regularly by cyclists. If you are not a confident cyclist you will be very welcome as long as you are happy to cycle this distance.
