Breeze Watford Cycle Hub: To Berko & Back: Pace 10-11 mph av. over the Challenging Route

Hi all, this ride is for the ladies who want to ride a little faster and can manage a 10-11 mph average over a Challenging category, hilly route. The scenery will be lovely and the ride will be on mainly quiet country lanes. Berkhamsted is in a valley, so we will ride up & over the Chiltern Hills from Watford, have a lovely coffee break at Berko and then re-fueled, climb back up & over the Chiltern Hills to return to Watford Cycle Hub. Please bring one or two spare inner tubes; a drink; snacks as needed, and money if you want to buy anything to eat or drink in Berkhamsted - though this is not compulsory - sitting in the grounds of the ruined castle in the sun with your own food/drink is perfectly lovely & I'll happily join you if anyone wants to do that! :) We pride ourselves at Watford Cycle Hub as a team on the way we care for those who come on our rides - so though this ride is for ladies who want to ride a little faster, I will: shepherd the group round the route; make sure no one is left behind; everyone has enough rest after a climb before they are ready to continue cycling; & that everyone gets to enjoy taking on this beautiful Challenging route with a few tough climbs, but without being beyond their limits. :) At Watford Cycle Hub we also offer our longer rides for both Breeze & Ride Socials at a slower pace settings also - so if the pace for this Saturday is a bit fast for you - message me & the ride can be repeated at a more gentle pace, e.g. c. 8-9 mph, or c. 9-10 mph average over the route. It's genuinely our pleasure to do this to enable more people the opportunity to do these routes at a pace comfortable for them! :)
