Breeze Turns 10 Hertford Cole Green Way to Birch Green cafe ride no 16 of 17

June will see HSBC UK Breeze turn 10 and we want to celebrate the success of the programme in Hertfordshire with a Relay linking all 10 Districts in the County. We would love you to join in and celebrate with us.
This ride is open to individuals identifying as female and will be led by a female Breeze Champion
This ride is suitable to those individuals who are confident in riding a bike but there is no fitness requirement. These will be steady and social rides where no one gets left behind.
This route sets off from outside the Hertford Town Football ground and goes along the Cole Green Wy to the Birch Green cafe where we will pick up the baton from another ride. This ride will be a around 7 miles long,. It will be approximately 2 hours in duration which includes a stop at the Birch Green dafe. The surface will be mostly off road and s mostly traffic free .
Participants will require their own bike and helmet. Please dress appropriately for the predicted weather conditions.
In view of COVID-19 we will be taking the following regulations into account with our ride leading and we will follow all local govt. guidelines. Please note the following:
• We will not share any equipment so please bring your own drink and hand sanitiser, and it is suggested that you bring your own spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump if you have them.
• You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides.
• At arrival at the start location, and when stopping in a group please keep to social distancing regulations of 2m.
• We will ride taking social distancing into account.
• Participants must not attend a ride if they have COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with anyone with symptoms or have been told to self-isolate.
