Starting from - Prestwick train station has a car park for those driving to the start of the route and rail access for those travelling by train .
Anyone coming from Ayr and wanting to do extra miles can meet en route . KA9 1AQ

Meeting at Prestwick train station we will head onto cycle route over to Troon ,taking in Fullarton woods,the beach front ,a loop of the town ,Barassie,Marr college and back to Prestwick.

Starting at the Robert Burns birthplace museum we will head into Ayr and follow the new improved cycle route along Newton shore to Prestwick and back

Mainly cycle route with occasional quiet road sections still on the national cycle route .

If anyone wants to meet en route at Ayr train station or Newton on Ayr we can arrange a point / time . If we can find a coffee shop open as still a public holiday we will stop at the end of the cycle for a chat / coffee

Helmets,spare inner tube if you have one ,warm gloves and coffee money advised.
