Breeze to the Stairway to Heaven

This is an extension of a previous ride to include the poignant memorial that is the Stairway to Heaven.
It is quite a long ride but it is a flat route on mainly traffic free or quiet roads, with the exception of a couple of potentially busy roads and junctions in Bethnal Green and on our return.
We will follow the Waterlink Way to Greenwich with the intention of walking through the foot tunnel to the Isle of Dogs. We will ride along the Thames path as far as Narrow Street when we will turn off through Limehouse basin picking up the Regent's canal and then quiet streets to Bethnal Green and the Stairway to Heaven.

Then we will retrace our route to Stepney City Farm where we will have a coffee/lunch stop. Bring a snack/drink anyway in case the café is busy. (Card payment only)
We will return via much the same route to Greenwich and then Catford.
If the foot tunnel lifts are out of order, we will take the DLR across the river so please bring oyster card/contactless/freedom pass,
