Starting from - We will meet in the centre of Cator Park near the flagpole where the paths converge. Parking is available in Aldersmead Road. Kent House and New Beckenham stations are both nearby. BR3 1LP

About the route

The route takes us on diversions from the Waterlink Way while its footbridge near Catford is closed. We'll cycle up Ladywell Fields, head towards Peckham Rye Common to eventually reach Peckham Road, where South London Gallery is located.
We'll take a look at the New Contemporaries exhibition and have coffee at the on-site cafe, South London Louie. https://www.newcontemporaries.org.uk/article/new-contemporaries-at-south-london-gallery
Our return route takes us through Burgess Park, C10, Deptford and Lewisham to reach Catford where we'll need to divert from the Waterlink Way again because of the bridge closure.
Please note that we'll be cycling through some busy roads and junctions due to the diversions.
Also, please bring a secure lock since we are going to leave our bikes unattended during the gallery visit.
