Breeze to Ravenscourt Park

This ride starts and finishes at Herne hill.
We'll cycle over the commons of Clapham and Wandsworth, cross the river and continue through the Bishop's park to reach Ravenscourt Park where we'll have a coffee stop.
We'll continue along the Thames path, cross over Chiswick bridge, cycle through Barnes and Putney to pick up the Thames path as far as Battersea and then return through mostly quiet streets to Herne hill. This is a longer ride, with some pretty stretches along the river but our route does include a couple of fast roads with the potential to be busy, as well as having to negotiate some rather horrid roadworks in Wandsworth (unless by some miracle they've finished)
We'll stop in Mortlake to view the newly renovated Burton Mausoleum.
We anticipate that the average pace for this ride will be +/- 14kph, but in a couple of places we need to dismount and walk, so you need to be able to cycle faster than this on the long smooth stretches so we keep to the timings advertised. Please bear this in mind before signing up to the ride.
We expect to return to Herne Hill by 14.45.
