Breeze to London Sights & Columbia Road Flower Market (tube assisted)

A tube assisted touristic ride through London to the Columbia Road Flower Market.

We will meet in front of the bike racks outside the cafe (Syd’s Pizzeria & Coffee Shop) in West Harrow Park. There is a free carpark which can be accessed via Wilson Gardens. Nearest underground station is West Harrow (on the Metropolitan Line) and only a few mins walk away.

Starting from West Harrow Park we will ride via Horsenden Hill to take the canal route to North Kensington. Our first touristic stop will be Notting Hill and the coloured row of houses. From there we will ride on to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and London Eye. We will then make our way to our penultimate tourist spot, St Pauls Reflection Pool before heading to Columbia Road Flower Market. We will spend about an hour exploring the flower market and grabbing some coffee & snacks or an early lunch before riding to Liverpool Street to get the Metropolitan line back home.

The majority of the ride is on quiet residential roads, cycle paths and canal towpaths. Although there are a couple of a couple of brief sections on busier roads.

Please check your bike before the ride paying particular attention to the brakes and tyres. Please wear a helmet, bring a lock, spare innertube, payment method for tube home, water and a snack (or money to purchase one).
