Starting at Southampton Road Park and Ride ride up to Alderbury taking a right down Shute End Road and taking a left before Trafalgar Park , coming out at the top of Barford Lane. In Downton turn left, then in the middle of the traffic lights turn right onto Slab Lane which you follow, bearind right half way along till Woodfalls.Turning right, cycle along B3080 till the right fork on a left hand corner to take you along Hale Lane to Hale Green and the Village Hall. After a deserving break you continue your cycle along Hale Lane until you turn right onto Moot Lane which takes you back to Downton. Left on the B3080 then right onto Gravel Lane which takes you to the cycle path along the A338. Turn right to Charlton All Saints, cycle through the village and back onto the cycle lane of the A338 then take the next right onto the lane which goes along the River and into Bodenham. Here cross the A338 and cycle up the cycleway/pavement until you cross onto Lower Road and cycle via the Bridleway by Britford Farm to Britford Lane. Here cycle onto the cycle path beside the main road and down into Churchill Gardens where you can follow the cyclepaths through the gardens and back to the Petersfinger Park and Ride.
