This is a familiar route to a favourite destination!
It is perhaps a longer than usual ride but it is a flat route on mainly traffic free or quiet roads, although there is currently a tricky diversion at Canary wharf. We will follow the Waterlink Way to Greenwich with the intention of walking through the foot tunnel to the Isle of Dogs. We will follow the Thames path and C3 to Goodman's Fields where we will admire the interesting Equine Art installations and learn a little about the history of Goodman's Fields. There will be a coffee stop at the Pastry Parlour. We will return by continuing along the C3, which is a segregated cycle route, as far as London bridge. We will cross London bridge which is also segregated, and then follow the C4 and C10 back to Deptford before picking up the Waterlink way back to Cator Park.
You must be able to maintain a steady pace in order to keep up with the group so that we adhere to the timings posted in this ride.
Please bring oyster card/contactless/freedom pass for the fare on the DLR if we need to take it (£1.80).
Please call the leader, Jacqui Turner on 07456840924, if you have booked but there are problems on the day.
