This ride starts and finishes at Herne Hill. If you are not sure about the meeting point please message the ride leader.
You should bear in mind that there are some challenging aspects on this ride to Fulham Palace gardens
We'll ride over Clapham common as far as Wandsworth common and drop down towards the river, crossing over at Wandsworth bridge. Quiet roads and through the Bishop's park to reach Fulham palace and its lovely walled garden. If we're lucky the wisteria will be blooming. We'll have refreshments at the café there .
Then we'll return via Putney bridge and Wandsworth.
A few hilly bits between Clapham and Wandsworth, but not steep, whereas on the return there's a couple of stinkers. Mostly quiet roads but a few busy sections so you should be confident in traffic and be able to keep up with the pace.
