A visit to the Fitzrovia chapel in, unsurprisingly, the little area off Tottenham court road known as Fitzrovia. Formerly the site of the Middlesex hospital, the area has been redeveloped and the hospital chapel survives thanks to its Grade II* listed status. This hidden gem is worth a visit in its own right but is currently hosting this interesting exhibition:

We'll take a familiar route through Peckham and Walworth, crossing the river at Blackfriars bridge and along the C6 as far as Bloomsbury. We'll return via Covent garden and Aldwych, factoring in a coffee/lunch stop at either the Garden Room café or a convenient café on our route.
Mostly quiet roads into town but anticipate some busy streets in Central London.
