Breeze to Boston Manor

This women-only ride has everything except a lot of traffic. Our route includes quiet residential roads, cycle paths, parks, golf courses, canal towpath, a riverbank, an historic building and a choice of two cafes! There is heavier traffic on very short stretches of road. There are a couple of hills of note: one longish drag on the way out and a short sharp one on the return. Walking is allowed!

The route involves a significant amount of off-road riding. This ride is not suitable for road bikes with skinny tyres.

The house at Boston Manor Park has recently reopened after extensive restoration work. https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/BostonManorPark Entry is free. The park has two cafes, (https://thepottingshed.london/ and https://www.cooksandpartners.co.uk/boston-manor-house-cafe) but you can also bring your own snacks and drinks. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables. We will have up to an hour to have refreshments and explore the house.

The ride will be completed at a leisurely pace, and no one is left behind. Remember to check your bike before the ride, paying particular attention to the tyres and brakes. Make sure you have a lock to keep your bike secure if unattended.
