Over the bridge and using the Quiet way and the canal to cycle up to the Olympic park. If it is too wet we will use the alternate quiet back streets to meander up to Stratford and around the park. We will stop for refreshments in the Park before returning back via Victoria Park.
We will end the ride at Blackfriars.

You can get Thames link trains into Blackfriars quite liberally, and we will be back in time to get a train home.

Lovely route to the Olympic Park, going via canals and quiet ways to do a circuit of the park, and have a refreshment stop. We will then cycle back through the city and over Southwark bridge to end at Blackfriars

Superhighways, quiet roads and paths along canals

We will stop in the Olympic Park at an indoor / outdoor cafe depending on the weather.

Bring a light lock and some change for lunch or a cuppa

This is a city ride on quiet ways but it is not too far and you can give it a go, there are DLRs back if you get exhaused. Bring some water and a snack
